Tryouts & Registrations close June 11, 2024
If you are a returning member, thank you for your loyalty! If you are new to FC Wichita, we welcome you to the family and will try to make the process as worry-free as possible. This page should answer most of your questions but please contact our Registrar if you have a question not answered here. All registration and forms must be completed online this year. No hard copies will be provided or accepted.
We realize some players are unable to attend tryouts due to injury or vacation schedules. This does not prevent players from playing in the 2024-2025 seasons. Please register for tryouts even if you are unable to attend and then contact us for information about your specific situation.

We continue to unite and grow a club that our city can be proud of. Instead of multiple clubs in Wichita competing for the same players, we believe uniting players and many of the best coaches under one umbrella is what is best for soccer growth. That idea has led to unprecedented success by FC Wichita teams. A united soccer community is a better soccer community. We show this philosophy with our recent growth, merging the Wichita Athletics and FC Wichita.
Because not all teams have the same plans for leagues and tournaments, FC Wichita does not bill everyone the same competition fee. We believe that youth programming costs should be tailored to fit the individual team. The annual club fee is inclusive of the membership registration, access to state of the art training facilities at Stryker Soccer Complex, player registrations and insurance, team training and coaches salary. All league fees and additional tournament expenses will be passed back and divided amongst the players on a team by team basis through the team manager. Every participant will be required to pay a non-refundable $200.00 registration fee at the time they accept their roster position.
For all age groups, the fees can be paid in full without processing fees on or before July 15th 2024, OR semi-annual, OR online monthly installments. Ten month installments are available for the 9U-14U ages.
*Monthly payment plans include a processing fee
Club fees for the season are split into a few categories. Club fees are based on a flat rate annually, but can be broken into semi-annual or monthly payments to assist families who require more time to pay. If selected you will then choose the payment plan of your choice online.
ECNL, PRE-ECNL, U9-U14, High School, and U5-U8.
Fees cover coaching salaries, directors salaries, Stryker soccer complex field lease, indoor field lease, futsal court lease, club equipment and continuing education for coaches. Payment plan available.
Note: Players who excel in the ECNL or Showcase Teams, and are then invited into the UPSL or WPSL Academy (mixed ages 15-21) will not experience additional fees. Those programs are fully funded for the costs of uniform, training, facility, travel and meals.

We take pride in our new mission of creating a player centered atmosphere. Although we've always had the standard to develop every player into a flourishing athlete and an ethical young adult, our difference is clearly as Wichita's only club to provide a direct pathway for local player advancement for both male and female. Our programs range from recreational, to youth competitive, the on through regional and national league(s), which are designed to prepare players for college and beyond.
Players who are identified as ready for a higher level will be rewarded with appearances in older team sessions. Once a high school age player has excelled in those sessions they are advanced into the Academy or First team trainings.

Together For Wichita Foundation has established a limited pool of funds to provide financial assistance to players from low income families who cannot afford the full cost of our Competitive program. Financial aid only applies to the Club's Competitive dues and not uniform or travel expenses. Eligibility for financial assistance is based on verified household income and on the availability of funds. In addition, there are multiple fund raising opportunities for families who are interested.
*All players with birth years between 2020-2017 do not require a tryout and will be placed into developmentally appropriate teams after they complete this Tryout Registration.
